The big news is our tank got fixed and we were able to drive to our original destination as planned yesterday. The mobile tech came out and fortunately it was “just” screws got sheered and no leak or anything requiring a new tank. He was able to get the tank back in place, secure it and “make it like new”. We were SUPER appreciative. So yesterday was a long driving day. We left about 11:30am and stopped at 8pm at an Orchard Harvest Host. It was a pretty scene for a quick breakfast dinner and a good night sleep. We are getting into nicer temps, as last night it was a low of 65.
Tonight we are in a “city” park campground in Mitchell, South Dakota. The host told us we will be able to see the fireworks from the dock in the campground. From a quick walk when we first got here, there is a big lake on 2 sides of the campground, so will be able to see the fireworks from the waters edge.
Tomorrow we are going to see the Mitchell Corn Palace before heading to Badlands National Park. Lots of fun photos to come.
P.S. Dave said that he fixed the Blog so that you can now post on it. 🤞
Hope everyone has/had a Happy 4th.

Glad you got back on the road! Happy 4th of July
