Grand Teton - September 4th

Today was a hiking day.  We did the Taggart Lake, Bradley Lake, Beaver Creek loop for a total of 6.27 miles with a 900 foot elevation change.    The only animal sightings were squirrels, chipmunks and assorted small birds.  Part of the walk was along a small creek, so as you’re walking you just hear the babbling, which is quite peaceful.

Dave took this photo knowing I would climb out on this rock and just be like look at this.

The other thing I thought was neat but couldn’t get a good picture of was the pine trees.  On some of them there was a bit of moss growth on the branches which looked like soft needles and then a few branches up were just regular needles.  You could also really smell the pine as you went through certain sections of the trail.  Enjoy the pics from the hike.

Was really able to capture the reflections in this picture

This “tree” had lots of holes that were obviously homes.  Just wonder what lives there.

The white trees on the trail were very appealing to me, plus how is this picture not saying come and explore

I thought the cloud looked like smoke out of the mountain chimney

More white trees, we believe they are aspen.

Tomorrow we travel from Grand Teton National Park to Dinosaur National Monument.

Til next time…
