Sol Duc Falls - August 10th

 We had a lazy and social Saturday morning.  One lady came by to ask a question and we ended up talking for an hour.  Then we had our coffee and tea and ended up talking to the people next to us for a little bit.  We ended up embracing the laziness until lunch by doing some reading.  Boy am I growing in learning not to be busy every second.

We took an afternoon hike to Sol Duc Falls.  Total hike 5.9 miles.  Oh, nature is so my happy place.  The woods and walking is just so rejuvenating for me.  Old growth forests with massive trees and lots of green led us to the falls.  We also had a small preview fall or as Dave called it, an appetizer fall.   Enjoy the pictures.

Funny story.  Dave saw a camper across the way that had a Starlink on a tripod (Starlink is a satellite based internet service geared to campers.). Dave has been wondering how well it works and really liked how this guy had it on a tripod as opposed to the ground or a pole that you attach to your camper.  So he went over to ask him about it.  Turns out he was from one of the u-tube channels we watch sometimes -  Less Junk, More Journey.  Just never know who you might run into.
